The decision to build a new secondary school in north Kingston is an exciting moment for the Borough. Our area has a strong track record of educational achievement and has schools which are some of the best in the country.

Church-run primary schools in Kingston are both popular and successful and each plays an important part in the life of its local community. The Kingston Church School Appeal wants to see their track record in serving the community extended through a new Church secondary school on the North Kingston Centre site.

Your views in this process matter. The Council is conducting an open competition where a Church school will be one of several choices. If you back our efforts to see a new Church school built, please respond to the consultation. And do tell us your views!

The opportunity to serve the people of North Kingston by providing a successful 21st century Church of England secondary school, adding essentially to the choice and diversity of provision within Kingston for parents and young people, is very exciting.
